Legal Warranty
- Individuals: 2 years
- Business customers: 1 year
What does the Facom factory warranty include?
In addition to the legal warranty, some Facom products are marked with a letter indicating the extra factory warranty you can expect:
- Code E: unlimited duration. According to the terms, the product will be replaced at no cost.
- Code R: unlimited duration. According to the terms, the product will be repaired or replaced by an equivalent repaired product.
- Code D: this warranty is time-limited. The duration of the warranty is indicated by a number following the letter D (D1: 1 year; D2: 2 years; D3: 3 years; D5: 5 years). During the validity period, this warranty covers the repair and replacement of defective parts.
Exclusions from the Facom warranty:
- Consumables: products that are damaged or worn out due to use, such as drills, saw blades, grinding discs, files, blades, batteries, etc.
- Defects resulting from normal wear and tear, misuse, negligence, or poor maintenance.
- Defects resulting from alterations or repairs not carried out by the Facom repair service.
- Defects resulting from external forces (fire, flood, lightning, etc.)
How do you claim the warranty?
The Facom warranty terms apply without product registration with the manufacturer. If there is anything wrong with your Facom item, please contact Klium customer service and follow the return instructions for safe shipping.
