Installation testers for fixed electrical systems

An installation tester brings the measurements that belong to commissioning and periodic testing of a fixed electrical system together in one instrument. Continuity, insulation resistance, loop and line impedance, earth resistance and residual current device testing sit in the same unit, so you do not swap instruments between measurements.

What counts most in the choice is what the tester does with its results. A model with memory and matching software lets you order readings per distribution board and per circuit and pull a report straight out of them. After a day of testing that saves more time than any measuring function does.

Look further at one-handed operation, at display legibility inside a dark meter cupboard, and at the leads and probes supplied. Anyone who also checks charging infrastructure needs a test adapter for electric vehicle charging points.
