Analogue vernier calipers and dial calipers for workshop use

A vernier caliper remains one of the most reliable instruments for measuring outside dimensions, inside dimensions and depths without batteries or electronics. The purely mechanical scale delivers repeatable readings in workshops, on construction sites and in quality control environments.

This collection of 110 analogue calipers spans measuring ranges from 150 mm up to 1000 mm, with resolutions of 0.02 mm and 0.05 mm. Mitutoyo dominates the range with 93 models including standard vernier calipers, dial gauge calipers with 0.01 mm readout and specialist versions with carbide-tipped jaws for marking out. Facom supplies workshop-grade models with locking screws for stable readings, while Wiha and Bahco offer stainless steel calipers for general use.

Expert, Stanley and Gedore round out the selection with entry-level options. All calipers feature hardened stainless steel beams, fine-adjustment rollers and clear graduated scales. Select based on measuring range, resolution and whether you need standard jaws, depth rods or knife-edge tips.
