Mitre saws and crosscut saws for precise cutting
A mitre saw cuts wood, profiles and trim to length quickly and squarely, and with the mitre function you make crisp angles for framing, skirting and roof carpentry. Because the blade comes down in a fixed path, you repeat the same measurement time after time with high accuracy. Sliding versions with a pull function handle wider workpieces in a single pass.
When choosing, look at the blade diameter and the cutting capacity: a 216 mm blade is enough for lighter work, while 254 mm and 305 mm handle larger sections and wider boards. The motor power runs from roughly 1200 W to 2000 W and determines how smoothly the machine moves through hard wood and thick profiles. Good dust extraction, a reliable mitre scale and a clear cut-line indicator improve both the neatness and the pace of your work.
