Each chain has the same dimensions as its normal counterpart. For example, an extra strong chain of 11,000 kilos (24000 lbs) has the same dimensions as a normal chain of 5500 kilos (12000 lbs). This chain is frequently used to transport animal feed and unpackaged foodstuffs such as grain, corn, wheat and raw food mixtures. Most of these applications use scraper conveyor systems with large spacing between sprockets.
