How many coats should you apply?
For new or cleaned wood, apply 2 coats with an 8-hour drying interval between coats. For annual maintenance, 1 coat is sufficient.
Can you apply this product over painted or oiled wood?
No, do not apply it over painted, stained, varnished, oiled, or waxed wood. Strip or sand existing coatings down to bare wood first.
How long must the treated surface dry before rain exposure?
Allow the treated wood to dry for at least 24 hours before exposing it to rain or moisture.
