Company Overview

Founded in 1968, Rectavit initially focused on the shoe industry. In the late 1960s, the company found new opportunities in the construction industry and later expanded its range with specific solutions for the DIY sector, as more DIY enthusiasts found their way to building supply stores. Rectavit formed partnerships with leading brands, exclusively distributing their products in Belgium: Loctite (superglue), Promat (fireproof polyurethane foam), and Shell (bituminous moisture-proofing kits). Since 2004, Rectavit has been part of its industry peer and multinational Soudal from Turnhout.
