Knipex screwdrivers

Knipex screwdrivers are made for electricians and installers who work daily in distribution boards, switchgear and installations. The range consists mostly of VDE-tested, insulated screwdrivers with a multi-component handle, completed by VDE spanners on a screwdriver handle.

Choose the profile first: slotted for terminals and older screws, Phillips or Pozidriv for cross-head screws. If in doubt, read the profile on the screw head before you pick a size. Then look at the tip size and the overall length, which runs from 162 to 320 mm here. A short screwdriver gives more control in fine work, a long one reaches terminals at the back of a cabinet. The browned blade and insulated handle stay the same from one size to the next.

The VDE spanners with screwdriver handle, in 8, 10 and 13 mm, tighten hex nuts in places where an ordinary spanner does not fit. To buy a complete selection in one go, there are the Knipex 6-piece screwdriver sets, including VDE.
