Accessory/part hand crimping tool

Crimping profiles and clamping dies are the interchangeable inserts of a crimping tool. They decide which cable lug, connector or end sleeve the tool crimps correctly, so one tool body can serve several kinds of connection.

Choose the profile by connection type. There are dies for insulated and non-insulated cable lugs and connectors, for example 2.8 + 4.8 mm or 4.8 + 6.3 mm, for end sleeves and Twin end sleeves, and profiles for plug systems such as AMP Superseal 1.5 and Junior Power Timer. For solar installations there are profiles for MC4 and Helios H4 solar connectors. Facom supplies hexagonal clamping dies that you choose by cross-section, such as a 10 mm² die.

Always check which tool a profile is made for: it only fits the crimping tool the manufacturer intends it for. The profiles and dies come from Knipex, Gedore and Facom.
