Product description
Premium stainless steel Wera L-keys for hexagonal socket screws. Stainless steel prevents transmission of extraneous rust. The Hex-Plus profile offers larger contact surfaces in the screw head. The notch effect is reduced to a minimum and the destruction of the screw is nearly eliminated. With hexagonal ball tip at the long arm: The ball-shaped tip profiles enable the tool shaft to be moved and pivoted relative to the screw axis which allows screwdriving "around the corner". From size 3.0 with holding function for hexagonal socket screws on the long arm. Take it easy tool finder with colour coding by size. In a nearly wear-free L-key clip.

Design

Features and benefits
- Stainless L-keys are hardened to the same strength as conventional (carbon) steel tools, and prevent extraenous rust forming.
- The stainless steel tools from Wera are vacuum ice-hardened and have the hardness and strength needed for screw connections. There are no limitations to the industrial applications they are suitable for.
- Hexagon screws can endure a problem because the contact surfaces delivering the power from the conventional tool, is transferred to the screw via very small surface areas. The consequence: the screw can become damaged (rounding out). Hex-Plus tools have a greater contact surface that prevents this from happening! At the same time, as much as 20 % more torque can be applied. Good to know: Hex-Plus tools fit into every standard hexagon socket screw!
- The clamping of the screw is achieved by a flexible locking ball. The holding function is especially helpful in confined, hard-to-reach spaces, where there is no room for a second hand to secure the screw on the tool.
- The spherical drive profile means that it is possible to swivel the axis of the tool to that of the screw, and therefore enable angled, "around-the-corner" screwdriving jobs.
- L-keys with a thermoplastic sleeve are manufactured out of easy-to-grip, circular material. The sleeve ensures that work is safe and comfortable even at low temperatures. High corrosion protection features thanks to the special BlackLaser surface treatment. Colour coding and large stamp to enable the desired L-key to be easily located.
- The wear-resistant clip material ensures that the L-keys are securely held yet are easy to remove.
