Clean fastening without extraneous rust
- Proven Wera torsion zone: The specialized torsion zone cushions peak torque loads, helping you prevent premature wear and extend service life.
- Stainless steel rust prevention: Manufactured from stainless steel, this bit prevents unsightly extraneous rust from forming on your stainless fasteners.
- Secure PZ2 profile fit: The precisely engineered Pozidriv tip gives you exceptional grip in screw heads to reduce cam-out during operation.
With the Wera 3855/1 ts pz screwdriver bit, you fasten stainless steel Pozidriv PZ2 screws without the risk of unsightly extraneous rust. Driving stainless fasteners with conventional steel tools can transfer wear particles that rust over time, but this stainless steel bit prevents that contamination entirely. The engineered torsion zone absorbs peak torque loads during heavy screwdriving, protecting the bit from premature wear and snapping. Thanks to its precise PZ2 fit and 25 mm length, you maintain secure engagement in the screw head to prevent cam-out. Equipped with a standard 1/4" hexagon drive, it fits standard bit holders and delivers dependable performance for decking, cladding, and moisture-prone installations.

Product description
High quality bits out of stainless steel for Pozidriv screws. Wera stainless are made out of stainless steel which prevents the formation of unsightly extraneous rust. Come with Torsion zone: Torsion bits take-up torque peaks and absorb them in the Torsion zone. This prevents premature wear and extends the service life of the bit. 1/4" hexagon, suitable for holders as per DIN ISO 1173-D 6.3.
- Suitable for Pozidriv screws
- Stainless Steel Bits
- Solution to the extraneous rust problem: fasten stainless screws with stainless tools
- Vacuum ice-hardened
- Torsion design against premature wear
Application
- Suitable for Pozidriv screws
Drive
- 1/4" hexagon, suitable for DIN ISO 1173-D 6.3 bit holders
Design
- Stainless steel for minimising rust, special torsion-style design to reduce premature wear. Take it easy tool finder: Output colour coding (black = Pozidriv) and large stamp to enable the desired bit to be easily located.
Features and benefits
- Stainless steel has the property of not rusting. However, if tools made out of conventional steel are used for stainless steel components or screws, the particles left behind from these tools can adhere to the surface and then rust. This effect - known as extraneous rust - can impair the visual appearance and even cause structural damage that may result in expensive repair work. The wear particles that cause this rust effect can be prevented by using stainless steel tools.
- Wera stainless steel bits are manufactured out of stainless steel so unsightly rust can be avoided. The stainless steel bits from Wera are vacuum ice-hardened and have the hardness and strength needed for screw connections. There are no limitations to the industrial applications they are suitable for.
