Product description
- Paste for metal reconstruction in the automotive industry
- Two-component epoxy adhesive with Part A in dark grey and Part B in white or light grey
- Specially developed for reconstruction of metal surfaces, e.g. vehicle parts or bodies made of steel or aluminium
- Typically used as a lead-free alternative to soldering tin, fills and levels damages
- Perfect for final finishing of pulled-out dents in hard-to-reach places or welded joints
- Does not contain isocyanates, silicones or lead
- Does not shrink or sag
- Excellent sandability and good machining properties
- Works time-saving as there is no need to remove airbags, plastic parts, fabric coverings and the fuel tank or intake
- The mixed composition has a processing time of about 90 minutes (23 °C, 50% rv)
- Complete curing takes place at room temperature within 24 hours; curing can be accelerated with infrared heat at 60 °C for 1 hour
- Use a pneumatic or manual dual cartridge dispenser for application, e.g. LOCTITE HD14 Handheld Pneumatic Dual Cartridge Dispenser (200 ml, item 2693824) or LOCTITE HD14 Handheld Manual Dual Cartridge Dispenser (200 ml, item 2693822)
- It is recommended to pre-treat the surface with TEROSON VR 10
- Solvent- and lead-free alternative to soldering tin, no open flame required
- Excellent grinding and reconstruction properties
- Excellent sag resistance and excellent adhesion to metals
- No damage to existing painted areas or existing corrosion protection
