Replacement switches and switching modules for power tool repair
Switches and switching modules are spare parts that bring a power tool back into service after a fault, without replacing the whole machine. They belong to the general accessories and spare parts for powered tools and are meant for repairers and workshops that do their own maintenance.
A switch is always made for a particular tool or series. Look at the part number and the machine it is meant for, such as the Multimaster MSx and MSxE or the GA5034 angle grinder. The form differs: a standard push switch, a slide switch or a complete switching module with its electronics. A module is replaced as one unit; with a separate switch you reconnect the wires.
Have a switch replaced by someone qualified to work on power tools, and check after the swap that the machine stops as soon as you let go. The parts come from Fein, Festool and Makita. When in doubt, choose by the manufacturer's part number rather than by appearance, because switches that look alike do not always fit the same housing.
