SKF accessories for measuring instruments: probes, sensors and alignment chains

Accessories for SKF measuring instruments adapt a thermometer, alignment tool or tachometer to the measuring point in front of you. Maintenance technicians use them for condition monitoring and inspection of bearings, shafts and machines.

Most of them are type K temperature sensors. The choice depends on what you measure: surface sensors in a standard, magnetic, isolated or right-angle version for casings and bearing housings, a sharp-tip sensor for soft materials, a pipe clamp sensor for pipework and a gas and liquid sensor for media. A wire sensor is meant for high temperatures, a rotary probe for moving surfaces and a separate sensor for molten non-ferrous metals. A type K temperature probe comes with cable and plug.

There are also extension chains for shaft alignment tools and spare reflective tape for tachometers. Check that the sensor connects to the instrument you already use. These accessories fall under the SKF measuring and inspection technique, where the instruments themselves are found too.
