Quick couplings for tool-free hose connections

A quick coupling connects and releases a hose line by hand, without tools and without draining a system, which is what makes it the standard interface on compressed air, water and hydraulic lines in workshops and on site. The profile is the thing to get right first, because a coupling only mates with its matching nipple standard, and mixing profiles across a shop leads to leaks and forced fittings.

Check working pressure, temperature range and the medium, since a seal material that copes with oil will not always suit hot water or aggressive cleaning agents.
