Nozzles, spouts and adapters for sealant guns

A nozzle decides how a bead of sealant or adhesive leaves the cartridge: the shape of the opening, the angle you can work at and how accurately you fill a joint. Standard spouts wear or block after a job, and a blocked spout costs more time than a new one. That is why they usually come in packs and why loose spouts are part of normal consumption for anyone finishing joints.

Watch three things when you choose. The fitting has to match what you are using, because a standard cartridge is threaded while a sausage pack needs an adapter with its own spout. The shape decides the result: a point cut at an angle lays a flat bead, and a thin extended spout reaches into deep or narrow joints. A rotating version or a connector at an angle helps where the gun itself no longer turns, against a ceiling or behind a pipe.

Cut the spout to the width of the joint and no wider, and the bead stays tight while you use less material. For two-component products, look at hardener for the matching components.
