Rolling bases that turn a case stack into one unit
A mobile stand turns a stack of system cases into a rolling unit. Instead of carrying cases one at a time you clip the stack onto the stand and move the lot from the van to the workplace in one go. That saves walking on every working day and spares your back with heavily loaded cases.
The choice starts with the case system you already use. Modular case and box systems each have their own coupling, so a stand is rarely interchangeable between brands. Then look at wheel size and wheel type: large wheels with a rubber tread take thresholds, cable ducts and site rubble more easily than small hard rollers. A telescopic handle works well on flat floors, while a low roller board is handier if you mainly move the stack over short distances.
DeWalt, Festool, Makita, Milwaukee, Bosch, Metabo and Gedore each build their stand around their own case platform. If in doubt, check how it connects to the bottom case and what carrying weight it is rated for. Mobile stands sit inside the wider system storage range, where cases, inserts and modules connect to each other.
