Reliable drilling with Makita

Practical benefits
  • Accurate drilling in concrete: Four solid carbide cutting edges ensure you bore smoothly through reinforced concrete and stone without jamming on rebar.
  • Rapid dust removal flutes: The high-volume double flute evacuates debris quickly, so you maintain fast drilling speeds and prevent tool overheating.
  • Heavy-duty SDS-MAX shank: Designed with an SDS-MAX connection, you transfer maximum impact energy from your hammer directly to the material.

In a nutshell

The right choise for

With the Makita P-78053 sds-max concrete drill bit, you drill deep, precise holes through tough concrete, reinforced concrete, masonry, and natural stone. The 4-cutter solid carbide head delivers accurate 32 mm holes and prevents jamming when encountering steel rebar. Featuring a working length of 800 mm and an overall length of 920 mm, it easily reaches through thick structural walls for pipe and cable penetrations. The high-volume flute design removes dust quickly to prevent overheating, while the heavy-duty sds-max shank ensures full, slip-free impact transfer directly from your hammer drill.

Product description

TCT drill bit 32 x 800 / 920 mm, SDS-MAX

High-quality and durable SDS-MAX Zentro drill bit with a tip with 4 cutting edges for drilling in concrete and natural stone. Excellent grit removal thanks to shortened spiral grooves. This bit has an overall length of 920 mm, a working length of 800 mm and a diameter of 32 mm.

The Zentro drill bit with SDS-MAX connection is specially made for drilling in concrete and stone. The sharp and centred tips allow precise holes to be made. Compact, high-volume spiral grooves remove dust very efficiently during drilling. When drilling in natural stone, it is recommended to use cutting oil or equivalent to cool the blade. This significantly extends the life of the blade. Natural stone is a very hard material and if deep holes are drilled continuously, the blade gets hot and may eventually break.
