Efficient heavy-duty drilling with Makita
- Smooth drilling through reinforced concrete: The four-cutter carbide head prevents jamming when hitting steel reinforcement to deliver round holes.
- Fast removal of drilling debris: You clear dust efficiently from deep holes thanks to the shortened flute geometry designed for high material volume.
- Reliable SDS-MAX impact transfer: You transmit hammer impact directly to the tip without losing power in stone or concrete.
With the Makita P-77970 SDS-max hammer drill bit, you drill with precision through solid and reinforced concrete, masonry, and natural stone. The symmetrical four-cutter carbide head prevents jamming when hitting steel rebar, ensuring consistently clean and round holes. Featuring a 450 mm working length and a 570 mm overall length, it allows you to create deep through-holes for pipe installations and heavy anchors with ease. The shortened flute geometry quickly clears drilling dust while reducing vibration, and the robust SDS-max shank delivers the full impact energy of your rotary hammer directly to the tip.
Product description
TCT drill bit 28 x 450 / 570 mm, SDS-MAX
High-quality and durable SDS-MAX Zentro drill bit with a tip with 4 cutting edges for drilling in concrete and natural stone. Excellent grit removal thanks to shortened spiral grooves. This bit has an overall length of 570 mm, a working length of 450 mm and a diameter of 28 mm.
The Zentro drill bit with SDS-MAX connection is specially made for drilling in concrete and stone. The sharp and centred tips allow precise holes to be made. Compact, high-volume spiral grooves remove dust very efficiently during drilling. When drilling in natural stone, it is recommended to use cutting oil or equivalent to cool the blade. This significantly extends the life of the blade. Natural stone is a very hard material and if deep holes are drilled continuously, the blade gets hot and may eventually break.
