This blade is made of bi-metal (BiM). It is a material that resists bending and cuts through hard materials without blunting the teeth of the blades. This makes it suitable for cutting through hard materials and has a long life. The blade attachment is bayonet-shank type, also called T-shank, designed for quick and easy blade changes. The T-shaped cross-section fits into the blade holder of the jigsaw. The shape of the shank ensures a secure attachment and reduces the risk of the blade slipping or loosening during use.
