Top21 is the groove moulder with adjustable cutter from the inventor of the Lamello system and mills a precise 4 mm groove for wood joints. The proven and well thought-out groove router is fast and versatile. It is the basis for the extensive range of fixed, self-tensioning and demountable connectors. The Lamello system is a highly efficient and precise jointing system for sheet materials and provides furniture joints and mitres at all angles. As with all Lamello flat dowel routers, the Top21 is also characterised by carefully machined aluminium components for precise engagement with the workpiece and a perfect fit. Unlike any other groove router on the market, the Top21 features a unique router height adjustment. For this purpose, the groove cutter has a rotary knob that allows the cutter position to be adjusted stepwise from 0.1 mm up or down by 2 mm. This feature can, for example, centre the groove in a 19 mm thick board (9.5 mm on both sides) instead of positioning it eccentrically (8 mm or 11 mm). Another application of the groove cutter is easy milling of joints with under- or overhang. If a corner joint is made of coated chipboard, the side is set back around the rounding of the edge so that the chip layer is not visible at the edge. This can be done with the Top21 in no time by adjusting the groove position. Adjusting the cutter is also an advantage when cutting shadow joints on wooden tile ceilings or laminate floors, as it allows the resulting joint to be adjusted.
