Classic X is the original Groove Router from the inventor of the Lamello system and mills a precise 4 mm groove for wood joints. The proven and well thought-out groove router is quick and versatile to use. It forms the basis for the extensive range of fixed, self-tensioning and demountable connectors. The Lamello system is a highly efficient and precise jointing system for board materials and provides furniture joints and mitres at all angles. The identical milling operations on both workpieces without adjusting the milling depth reduces possible errors. Moreover, the system can be used efficiently thanks to the lateral sliding tolerance, as no stops or positioning aids are required. The Classic X flat dowel cutter is distinguished by its carefully machined aluminium components. The milled stop surfaces on the backing plate, swivel stop and stop angle make precise contact with the workpiece. The precise interplay between the moving parts during milling produces parallel grooves for a perfect fit of the workpieces. Another advantage of the Classic X is the swivel stop's fixed pivot point, which means the groove is always in exactly the same position. Thus, the swivel stop can also be repeatedly raised or lowered during work, without any dimensional inaccuracies. The biggest plus on the Lamello groove cutter is the multifunctional stop angle. It is slid onto the backing plate for safe handling when routing into the surface. In addition, it is used to accurately set the groove position 0-50 mm or to carry out mitres even more precisely by stop on the outer surface of the furniture.
