Product description

  • Extremely mild but effective
  • Based on lactic acid

HG coffee machine descaler lactic acid is specially developed for removing limescale from various types of espresso and coffee pod machines. HG coffee machine descaler lactic acid is not only milder and safer than ordinary citric acid descalers, it also descales better, is odourless and also completely biodegradable. With regular use of this descaler, the coffee continues to taste great, the machine maintains its speed and you will also enjoy your espresso or pad coffee maker for years longer!

Instructions for use

  • Pour 125 ml of product into the water tank and top up with water up to 750 ml (6x diluted)
  • If the water tank is smaller than 750 ml, dispense 100 ml into the water tank and top up with water to 600 ml (6x diluted)
  • Allow this solution to take effect for 10 minutes
  • Then switch on the appliance and allow the liquid to run through halfway
  • Switch off the appliance, let the product take effect for 10 minutes and then run the rest of the liquid until the reservoir is completely empty
  • After treatment, rinse the water tank well, then fill it with clean tap water, then run the machine at least 3 times with just water so that no limescale residue or aftertaste is left behind
  • For pad coffee machines, if necessary, first place a pad holder with a used coffee pad in the machine so that any limescale residue is collected in it
  • In this way, a possible blockage of the outlet opening can be avoided
  • If not all limescale has disappeared after application, repeat the treatment
  • Consumption: 125 or 100 ml per descaling cycle depending on the volume of the water tank of the espresso or coffee pod machine
  • 1 bottle is sufficient for 4 or 5 treatments
