HG tile cement residue remover (product 11) removes cement residue from all types of porous and non-porous ceramic tiles, flagstones and non-calciferous natural stone types such as Norwegian slate, granite and quartzite. It dissolves the cement on the tile surface without affecting the cement in the joints; the joints are even strengthened. Also suitable for removing rust. For very stubborn soiling, we recommend HG cement & mortar residue remover (product 12).
Instructions for use
- For glazed, smooth tiles and flagstones: dissolve half a litre in 5 litres of water
- For unglazed and coarsely glazed tiles and non-calciferous natural stone: dissolve 1 litre in 4 litres of water
- First wet the surface with clean water and then apply the solution generously using a floor cloth or mop
- Do not treat more than 10 to 15 m2 at a time
- Then scrub the surface thoroughly with a scrubber or brush
- Soak for 15-20 minutes, keeping the floor wet with the solution of this product during the soaking period
- Then thoroughly scrub the treated surface again and remove the solution with a mop, rinsing it regularly and wringing it out in water
- Then mop the floor thoroughly 2-3 more times with clean water
- If necessary, repeat the treatment locally
- Consumption: 20-50 m2 depending on dilution and intensity of the cement residue
