Connection pieces for threaded pins and slide hammers on Facom pullers

Facom connection pieces and adapters link pullers, threaded pins and slide hammer weights, so one impact weight can build different pulling setups for extracting bearings, shafts and hubs. These pieces belong to Facom puller parts, along with spare jaws and drawbars.

Connection pieces for threaded pins join a pin to an impact weight or drawbar. Pick the thread that matches the pin: metric, such as M10 x 1.5 mm or M16 x 2 mm, or imperial, such as 1/2" x 20 UNF. A wrong pitch damages the thread on the very first blow.

Adapters are made per puller series: they fit the U.301 and U.302 pullers to the U.49AM impact weight, or the U.49P5 to P9 pullers to an impact weight or drawbar. So always check the type numbers of your puller and weight before you choose a piece. That keeps the pulling force in line with the shaft and stops the setup slipping while you strike. Keep these pieces with the puller and weight they serve, so the whole setup is ready when a bearing or hub is stuck.
