OK Tigrod 53.56 is a solid aluminium TIG welding rod of the AlMg5Cr(A) (R5356) type. This widely used filler alloy is suitable for welding aluminium-magnesium alloys with a magnesium content of up to approximately 5 per cent. This welding rod is selected when high shear strength, good corrosion resistance and reliable mechanical properties of the welded joint are required. The alloy is not heat-treatable.
