Product description

OK Autrod 4043 is a solid aluminium MIG welding wire of the AlSi5 (ER4043) type and is one of the most commonly used welding and brazing alloys. The addition of silicon improves the fluidity of the molten pool, giving the wire excellent wetting properties and making it the preferred choice for many welders. The alloy is not particularly susceptible to heat cracking, produces bright and virtually soot-free welds, is not suitable for anodising and cannot be heat-treated.
