Product description
Filarc PZ 6113 is a universal, all-position rutile-filled welding wire designed for use with CO2 or an Ar/CO2 mixture. It offers exceptionally good weldability in all positions, with a smooth, stable arc that produces a spatter-free, high-quality weld. The wire works perfectly in combination with a ceramic backing strip for laying a high-quality root pass. Very popular with welders.
Features and benefits
In 1957, ESAB pioneered the development of gas-shielded flux-cored arc welding (FCAW). Today, ESAB offers the widest range of mild steel and low-alloy flux-cored wires available worldwide.
ESAB flux-cored wires produce flat welds with deep penetration and spread into the plate, delivering high deposition rates and efficiency. This dramatically reduces welding time, thereby increasing productivity.
Welding with cored wire can be up to three times more productive than electrodes and up to 2.5 times more productive than MIG. FCAW also offers productive positional welding where required, as well as low diffusible hydrogen levels (H5).
ESAB Coreweld metal-cored wires have been developed to meet the demands of challenging applications, such as structural steel, heavy equipment, transport, bridges, petrochemical processing, offshore platforms, railway carriages, shipbuilding, pressure vessels and general fabrication.
Coreweld metal-cored wires combine high deposition rates and efficiency, high travel speeds, excellent penetration and ease of use, utilising advanced manufacturing processes and specially formulated composite fillers. Metal-cored wires also offer excellent arc stability, penetration and wetting, with superior penetration into the base metal and side walls. The result is a high-quality weld with minimal slag and spatter and fewer residual silica islands.
