Optimal protection in snow and ice
Safety boots for winter have to cope with extreme conditions. Weather conditions at sub-zero temperatures are often a downright assault on the material - leather or textiles can become stiff in the cold and brittle with repeated freezing and thawing. With running soles, one must also be careful: if the composition is not cold-resistant, the first micro-cracks do not take long to appear. The HAYS XXAG Pro BOA® GTX black High ESD S3S HI CI is prepared for such challenges. Hydrophobic nubuck leather and robust textile material do not allow moisture to penetrate the upper. This is supported by the inner lining GORE-TEX Insulated Comfort Footwear: absolutely waterproof, highly breathable and with maximum thermal insulation - so feet remain optimally air-conditioned even in snow, ice and mud. A real highlight is the GUMMI/PU sole WELLMAXX VIBRAM® with ARCTIC GRIP® PRO technology. Equipped with special tread elements, the sole offers excellent grip on slippery surfaces such as frozen ground or wet stones. For comfort when putting on and taking off, the laterally positioned BOA® Fit System ensures a comfortable fit. Its lateral position makes it better protected and less susceptible to pressure and impact loads. For safety, a plastic toecap, the metal-free penetration protection with recycled components and a robust TPU creep nose, which prevents wear and tear on the shoe nose, ensure safety. And as with all WELLMAXX shoes, the sole core contains Infinergy® from BASF - a high-tech material that cushions impacts and returns energy when walking. The ESD-certified winter safety boot meets several standards: WR (waterproof), FO (oil and fuel resistant), SC (protective toecap), LG (Laddergrip), HI+CI (heat and cold insulating) and HRO (heat resistant). Available in sizes 39 to 48.
