Spare carrying cases for power tools in plastic and aluminium
A spare carrying case replaces a damaged or lost original case, or gives a machine that came without one a sturdy package for transport and storage. The cases in this category are empty and sit under general accessories and spare parts for powered tools.
Choose the material first. Plastic cases come from Makita, HiKOKI and Fein; Makita also has aluminium cases for anyone who wants a harder shell. Spit has a case for the IM65, IM65A and IM50 lithium, so those tools and their accessories stay together.
Fit matters more than material. A case is often moulded inside for one machine model or kit, so check in the product name that the case is meant for your tool. A case from the same brand does not automatically fit every machine of that brand. If you store the machine with its batteries and charger, check there is room for them; to re-equip a cordless tool on the power side, see the chargers for power tool batteries.
