Pleated filters, extractor adapters and automatic switches for dust extractors

Pleated filters, extractor adapters and automatic switches are the parts that connect a dust extractor to the tool and keep it working cleanly, for joiners, installers and renovation firms. They belong to climate control, together with ventilation and extraction.

An automatic switch starts the extractor as soon as you switch on the connected tool. Choose by mains voltage: 230V for ordinary workshop machines or 400V for three-phase power. For cordless tools, a CordlessControl cordless socket switches the extractor on through a signal from the machine.

For filters, look at the device and the dust class. There are pleated cellulose filters for dust class L and pleated polyester filters for HEPA 13, plus a HEPA filter for an 18V cordless vacuum. Extractor adapters and connection sleeves, such as a sleeve with a 28 mm inner and 35 mm outer diameter, link the hose to a saw, sander or router. A drilling sleeve catches drilling dust at the rotary hammer. There are also cleaning nozzles and AC adapters for fans. The brands are Metabo, Makita, Bosch and Milwaukee.
