The 3M Hookit Low Finish Sanding Pad is a pad made of 17.46 mm thick low-density foam with a 15° blunt tapered edge. Our sanding pads are designed for use with a 127 mm 3M Hookit Disc* for expert finishing of flat or profiled surfaces when dust extraction is not required. *Sold separately

The soft, low-density foam of 3M Hookit Low finishing sanding pads offers deformability, allowing the disc to flex and provide a longer tool life in applications that create fulling. Use our 17.46 mm low-density sanding pads with a blunt, 15° tapered edge for finishing flat or contoured surfaces when dust extraction is not a concern. The 5/16-24 outer thread on our pads allows them to be used with orbital sanders or eccentric sanders. Moreover, the Hookit Velcro system makes it easy to attach, remove and replace the discs. The disc can be used and reused for its entire service life. Our Hookit Sanding Pads feature the J-shaped hooks usually used in home-garden Velcro. These pads grip into the back with ´brushed nylon´ Velcro loops of Hookit discs and offer a finer finish than discs with adhesive backs. The Hookit System is designed for workshops where self-adhesive discs can become contaminated by dust, dirt or flying debris. These sanding pads can also be used with velcro-backed discs from other brands.
