Sealing tape for seams, frames and connections

Sealing tape closes seams, junctions and penetrations air- and watertight, so a structure stays energy efficient and moisture is kept out. When setting window frames, finishing roof and facade penetrations and making a building envelope airtight, the right tape determines how the whole seal performs. You choose the type by function: vapour-open membranes on the outer face let construction moisture escape while holding back driving rain, whereas vapour-tight tapes on the inner face guarantee the airtight layer.

Alongside these you will find self-adhesive aluminium and bitumen tapes for bridging and repairing seams. When choosing, look at the width, the tack and the surface the tape bonds to, because a clean, dry and dust-free surface decides the durability. Widths from 50 mm to 300 mm cover both fine connection seams and wide overlaps. Watch the UV and temperature resistance for outdoor use.
