Tape for sealing, masking, bundling and mounting

Adhesive tape is rarely one product on a working site. A 50 mm box sealing tape on a 66 m roll closes cartons, masking tape holds a paint line crisp and leaves no adhesive edge behind, cloth or duct tape bundles cable and repairs temporarily, and double-sided tape replaces screws on light mounting. Choose on application first and on size second.

The carrier decides the behaviour: paper tears by hand and finishes cleanly, PVC stretches around a curve, cloth is strong and follows an uneven surface. The adhesive decides whether the tape holds on a dusty or cold surface and whether it comes off again without residue.

On masking, temperature resistance counts as well, because if the tape stays on too long or gets too hot the adhesive bakes on and you are left scraping.

Pick width and roll length on consumption: narrow rolls for detail work, wide rolls for masking off large areas fast. Films and the remaining tapes follow on under adhesive tapes and films.
