Light on your feet and safe all round with our IAN
People who stand on their feet for several hours a day and do a lot of standing work permanently strain their joints and muscles. To counteract this, shoes need good cushioning. Infinergy® from BASF is the magic word here. The cushioning technology is also in our IAN XXTP red Low ESD S2. The particle foam in the core of the TPU/PU outsole has resilient properties that absorb the impact of the foot particularly well. When pressure is removed, the sole springs back to its original shape, so that less force needs to be applied when walking. Even if the shoe is worn for several hours, the feet hardly get tired. But because we are not only concerned with cushioning, the sole is designed so that the nested arrangement of tread blocks provides excellent slip resistance. So when walking on dirty or uneven surfaces, you are less likely to have slip accidents. Moisture and wetness also hardly affect the performance of this ESD-capable safety shoe, as the upper material of hydrophobised microfibre and hydrophobised textile provides no surface for liquids to penetrate.
