The TORNADO XXSW black-blue Low ESD S1PS is a safety shoe from the WELLMAXX-SKYWALK series in which the proportion of recycled materials has been significantly increased - without compromising on safety or technological innovation. The mesh upper material with recycled fibres adapts smoothly to the foot and is noticeably lighter than leather or many synthetic alternatives. That means fewer pressure points and more comfort while moving. The breathable textile lining (also with recycled components) promotes air circulation and prevents heat build-up in the shoe. The laces and stitching also consist of 100% recycled materials. They withstand high mechanical stress, ensure a precise fit and underline the durable nature of this model. The protective carbon toe cap provides reliable protection against impacts, while the metal-free penetration protection prevents sharp objects such as nails or glass shards from entering the sole. A particular highlight is the GUMMI/eTPU/SCF sole WELLMAXX SKYWALK: the combination of an open Infinergy® module in the heel area with Supercritical Foam provides dynamic cushioning that relieves muscles and joints. A TPU creep nose protects the front of the shoe from abrasion. The shoe is FO, SR, SC and HRO certified, ESD compliant and available in sizes 36 to 48.
