LUIS S3 HI
Especially for foundries and welders - at workplaces where it is hot - ELTEN has developed the LUIS S3 HI high safety shoe, made of fire-resistant waterproof full-grain cowhide leather with heat-resistant seams. The protective cuff with side quick-release fastener protects against the penetration of dirt and foreign objects and dissipates hot metal. In addition to the EN ISO 20345-1 standard, the safety shoe also meets the standard for foot protection against thermal hazards and splashes from molten iron and aluminium. It is thermally insulated and provides short-term protection against contact heat. The LUIS S3 HI's steel toe cap protects toes from impact and pressure, while the steel midsole protects the wearer from penetration by sharp objects. The leather lining is breathable and comfortable to wear. In the forefoot area, the high-performance high safety shoe has a PU protective toe cap that protects the leather there from premature wear - so the shoe lasts longer. The thick rubber/PU sole with 6 mm profile offers very good grip on difficult surfaces. The high safety shoe is approved for orthopaedic adjustments according to EN ISO 20345 (DGUV 112-191). This means that it can be adapted to individual complaints by an orthopaedic shoemaker without jeopardising its approval as a standard safety shoe. LUIS S3 HI is manufactured in sizes 38 to 50.
