Robust boot with ankle protection
Accidents caused by tripping and twisting are among the most common injuries on construction sites. Even the smallest misstep can sometimes lead to lengthy work interruptions. This is where the ELIO Biomex M ESD S3 comes into play. It is equipped with BIOMEX PROTECTION©, a plastic cover that stabilises the ankle joint in the event of a sprained ankle accident. It is biomechanically designed to prevent sprains and guide the foot into the correct fluid motion. But that's not all. The robust safety shoe effectively protects the toes and midfoot from hazards from above - with a steel toe cap and XRD® MET GUARD midfoot protection. From below, the steel midsole protects the shoe from penetrating nails or other sharp objects. Added to this is the particularly good grip on uneven floors thanks to the PU/PU sole SAFETY-GRIP with deep tread and integrated PU creep nose. This protects the upper material made of cowhide leather and water-repellent microfibre against premature wear from working on the knees. On the inside, the safety shoe offers a breathable textile lining and the black ESD PRO insole, which purposefully dissipates static electricity through the sole and also allows the wearer to work with sensitive electronics.
