- Microgard FR is a flame-retardant material designed to be worn over thermal protective clothing such as Nomex or Pyrovatex, providing protection from dust particles and liquid splashes without compromising worker protection in the event of a sudden fire
- The Microgard FR should never be worn as a stand-alone garment for flame-retardant protection. The suit should always be worn over garments with at least EN ISO 14116 Index 2 protection or higher
- Flame retardant treated Sontara/wood pulp/polyester material with good barrier against dust particles and light liquid mists
- Air and water vapour permeable (breathable) to help reduce the risk of heat stress
- Optimised fit, improves comfort and safety of wearer
- Stitched seams, combines strength and barrier against dust particles
