The ideal shoe for welders
The CARL II S3 HI safety boot from the ELTEN Specials series has been specially developed for welders and welding work. In these fields of application, safety equipment has to be able to withstand rough handling and this boot is no exception. It has a padded, leather spark protection cuff and heat-resistant seams. The upper is made of flame-retardant cowhide leather. Furthermore, the boot has a quick-release fastening with an additional buckle. The breathable leather lining ensures pleasant wearing comfort. The steel toecap and midsole offer reliable foot protection. The coarse rubber/PU sole SAFETY-GRIP is particularly suitable for welding work. It protects against contact heat, withstands temperatures of up to 300°C for short periods and offers excellent grip on slippery surfaces. The boot is equipped with PU toe protection that protects against premature wear in the forefoot area. In addition, the boot is approved according to EN ISO 20345(DGUV 112-191) for orthopaedic adjustments and can be individually adapted by the orthopaedic shoemaker without losing its approval as foot protection. Available in sizes 36 to 48.
